Our Projects

Boan has successfully completed a wide range of projects involving pipelines, facilities or both, and the quality of our work has consistently gained repeat business from our clients. A few of our recent projects and reactions from our clients are provided below:

Texas City Terminal & Pipelines
Construction of an ~750,000 barrel crude oil terminal in a highly industrialized area within Texas City, Texas for Genesis Energy (completed 2017). Scope included pumping facilities, station piping, interconnecting pipelines, and measurement and interconnection facilities. A previously-related projected included the construction of an ~18 mile 18” crude oil pipeline between Webster and Texas City, Texas (completed 2013).

Raceland Terminal & Pipelines
Construction of an ~500,000 barrel crude oil unit train unloading and transfer station sited in a sugarcane field in Raceland, Louisiana for Genesis Energy (completed 2017). Scope included pumping facilities, unloading manifolds, station piping, interconnecting pipelines, measurement and interconnection facilities, civil and E&I oversight.

Tinsley Pipeline DOT Maintenance & Repair Project
Complete rehabilitation of an ~32-mile idled 8” crude oil pipeline to bring into DOT compliance for Tinsley Resources. Scope included in-line inspection and evaluation, development and execution of repair program, testing, commissioning and PHMSA audit support (completed 2016).
